Colorado History Museum! The museum includes a
variety of spaces that are perfect for hosting for weddings,
receptions, corporate functions, lectures, art shows,
private parties and more! Located in the Golden Triangle Museum District, walking distance from the 16th St. Mall, State Capitol, Denver Art Museum and many of Denver’s finest hotels. The unique setting and dedicated staff make it the perfect backdrop for your special event!

With the rental of the Entire Museum, clients have access to Boettcher Auditorium, Schlessman Hall, (1st floor lobby), the Museum Level Lobby, and all museum exhibits. Renting the Entire Museum is a perfect idea for large corporate events, holiday parties, and grand receptions. In the summertime, clients receive the bonus space of the sunny 3rd floor Capitol View Terrace for no additional charge. Free access to museum exhibits included.

Located in the 1st floor lobby, this is an excellent space for use alone or in combination with either the Museum Level or the Boettcher Auditorium as a registration area or cocktail hour locale.

Boettcher Auditorium

Capacity: 400 Lecture Style, 250 DInner,
350 Stand-up
The museum’s largest venue, this room is a perfect spot for many
different events – luncheons, classes, workshops, lectures, wedding
receptions, and corporate parties. Boettcher has a level, carpeted floor, a 10’ceiling, and is fully equipped with surround sound and track lighting. The rental also provides access to the rotating gallery exhibits attached to the west entrance of the room.

Museum Level Lobby

This area features a 16’ high curved glass wall with State artifacts, forming a dramatic backdrop for any event. The Museum Level also provides access to exciting museum exhibitions.
