The following equipment is available to renters for use during their event at no additional charge:

• 5' round tables (12)
• 6' rectangular banquet tables (20)
• 8' rectangular banquet tables (5)
• 400 chairs
• Microphone and podium with surround sound in Boettcher Auditorium & Museum Level Lobby
• Hanging projector screen in Boettcher Auditorium
• two, movable, carpeted stage risers (6' x 8' x 8")
• 25" TV/VCR/DVD unit

Reservations & Refunds

A refundable security and damage deposit is required up front in order to reserve space at the Museum (excluding conference room & classroom rentals).  Events using only one space and less than 300 people - $250; events using more than one space - $500.  The deposit is due upon receipt of the contract.  The date will be held for two weeks.  If no contract or deposit is received, the date will open up for new clients.  If the event is cancelled, the deposit will only be refunded less $50 if cancellation is received in writing 60 days in advance of rental date.  50% of the rental fee will be refunded only if the space is re-sold to a new client. Discount coupons cannot be combined for spaces that rent for less than $300. 

* A $350 “repainting fee” will be assessed to all clients renting out the Boettcher Auditorium for art exhibits so that the Museum can have the walls touched-up post-event.  This fee may be waived if clients can find alternative ways to hang without puncturing the walls.

Rental Fees

Rental fees are due in full 30 days before event.  All rental fees include Museum Security Personnel, and use of tables, chairs, and limited AV equipment.  Party rental equipment (including round tables) and more specific AV needs are to be provided by one of the approved sources listed under “Vendor List.”

Non-Profit Rates

Non-profit organizations (with written proof of status) and government agencies are eligible for a 15% discount on rental fees.
