To view the Collections
In
the Library
The library will be closed until it opens in our new building in 2012.
Once we reopen, the best way to view the photo collection is to visit the Stephen
H. Hart Library. The library staff will help you find images suited
to your needs, and our on-site imaging studio can provide you with
high quality prints and scanned images. Indexes to the Colorado
Historical Society's photo collections are available in the library.
Library visitors may use the photograph indexes to learn more about
the scope of the collections. The on-line library catalog (glas)
does not contain photograph records. Library staff is available
to assist library visitors with photo research. Once an area of
interest had been determined, library visitors fill out a request
form listing the subjects or collections they would like to see.
Library staff will bring envelopes or boxes of photographs out for
patron viewing.
