CRIPPLE CREEK CENTRAL

The Cripple Creek Central was organized by Colorado Springs interests to take over the Denver & Southwestern. Its holdings were the Florence & Cripple Creek, the Canon City & Cripple Creek, and the Midland Terminal. The Cripple Creek Central, formed in 1904, was the owning and leasing company for Cripple Creek Railroads for thirty years.
