Ephemera                                                            

The collection is arranged in  three parts: biographical, geographical, and subject, covering topics such as agriculture, ethnic groups, military and recreation. The collection consists of printed materials such as pamphlets, programs, brochures, papers and articles. These materials are uncataloged.

Biography   These ephemera envelopes are arranged alphabetically by the individual's name. 

      Sample heading: B—Carson, Christopher

Geographical   The "Geographical Vertical File" envelopes  are organized alphabetically by place name. Towns, counties, natural features, national parks are included in this collection.

      Sample headings:
      978.8    Colorado—Description & travel
      978.81  Denver—Buildings—Equitable Building
      978.84  Rocky Mountain National Park

Subject Collection   This ephemeral material is housed in cartons that are filed by subject. The materials in each box are stored in envelopes that are filed by a sub-heading.

Sample carton heading: SC—Military Affairs—World War I

Sample Envelope heading: SC—Military Affairs—WW I—Morgan County enlistments.

The ephemera collection is not cataloged.
