Resources for Kids in the Stephen H. Hart Library
The library has many resources for elementary school student local and Colorado History projects:

The Colorado Magazine
Biographical files and biographies (some juvenile) of Colorado historical figures. Biographical File index.

Books and information on Indians, the gold rush, ranching and other Colorado subjects
The library has primary source materials for middle and high school projects:
Colorado newspapers on microfilm

Visitor Information
Students 14 and under are welcome in the library when accompanied by an adult.
Library hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
There is no charge to use the library. Museum admission is not necessary.
All materials are used in the library. Items cannot be checked out.
Because much of the collection is old, library staff provides a copy service. Some items may be too fragile to copy. Copies are ready within 48 hours and can be picked up or mailed.
Microfilm reader/printers are available for viewing and copying newspapers.
