Over 1,500 journals and magazines published in Colorado and nationally. An index listing titles and dates covered is available in the library. Subjects include:

Colorado City Directories beginning 1866 (Denver)

Colorado State Business Directories 1875 -1956

Colorado Telephone Directories 1880 - present

The Colorado Magazine was published by the Colorado Historical Society from 1923 to 1980 and contains hundreds of articles about significant Colorado and Western people and events. Since 1980, the quarterly has been titled Colorado Heritage.

Individual Colorado Magazine articles are currently being cataloged and added to our online catalog. Copies of articles from The Colorado Magazine can be purchased for $7.00 each, prepaid by check, money order or credit card. If an article is continued in subsequent numbers, the charge will be $7.00 for each installment. Shipping is free. Contact the library to make your request.
