Renter's Responsibilities

The renter is the person who is financially responsible for the rental of the Mansion.  If a business
or organization rents the Mansion, an individual with signing authority must be named on the
Rental Agreement.

The renter takes full responsibility for informing  vendors and personal representatives of  the
Mansion’s Use Guidelines.

The renter is responsible for the conduct of their guests.   The renter is liable for injuries to other guests, Mansion staff or property damaged due to misconduct by their guests.

The renter must choose a personal representative who is the individual responsible for assisting the Mansion staff throughout the event.  This person is expected to know the Mansion’s guidelines and to help enforce them when necessary.  This person will be responsible for coordinating the removal of food, alcohol, flowers, etc., and sign out with the Mansion Representative before leaving.

A Mansion Representative will be present during your event.  This person is available to work with
your personal representative, assist vendors, bridal parties, and guests.  The Mansion Representative is not responsible for the set-up, moving furniture, or clean-up.  The Mansion Representative is responsible for the safety and security of your guests and the site.  This individual enforces the Mansion’s policies and has the authority to phone the police or to terminate the event, if necessary.  The Mansion is under video surveillance at all times.

If a third party is involved such as a wedding planner or destination event company, whose client is
the party responsible for all payments, the Mansion requires a letter stipulating that this individual is authorized to act upon the renter’s behalf.
