An Afternoon Into The Past School Program
Designed for 3^rd and 4^th grade classes studying Denver or Colorado history, students are costumed and role-play one of 18 people connected to the Evans house in the year 1918. Students receive an identification card with a photograph and a biography of their character in advance of their visit. As they tour the rooms of the house, each student tells the others something about their character and does a hands-on activity from the past. Meet collector Chris Taylor. A gallery talk and tour of the photographs in the show will begin at noon on both days. Hear about Chris's collecting process, and the history and stories about each photo. Free admission.

Enjoy tea sandwiches, scones, fruit and desserts during afternoon tea at the Byer's-Evans House Museum. Visitors will begin their visit with a tour of the home, which has been beautifully restored to the 1912 to 1924 time period.
