  CHS Volunteers Offer History Programs

Add some fun and interesting history to your organization’s programs. The Volunteers of the Colorado Historical Society offer a wide variety of spectacular and thought-provoking slide shows and interpretative presentations as well as entertaining fashion shows featuring historic costumes. Programs may be customized to fit your specific needs.  Volunteers donate their time and experience to present these entertaining and informative shows. Your donations support projects that benefit the Colorado Historical Society. Programs may be customized to fit your specific needs. Speakers Bureau

Choose from fifteen different history-related slide shows or an interpretive presentation. The presentations last from thirty to forty minutes and explore Colorado’s late nineteenth-century past. The suggested donation is $30 for the first fifteen guests, and $1 for each additional attendee.

Fashion Show

The fashion shows are perfect for special events and meetings. Choose from more than six hundred fashions popular from the late 1880s to the 1980s. Shows can be presented at the Colorado History Museum or at any other venue. Knowledgeable fashion coordinators will help you design a show that fits your theme or special interest. Suggested donations are $100 for a half hour show and $200 for an hour show.
