Volunteer Opportunities inside the Colorado History Museum: Education/Tours

Byers-Evans House, 1310 Bannock, Denver, CO 80204 (flexible shifts): Tuesday-Sunday 11:00am - 3:00pm
     Provide guided tours of this unique historic home
     Assist with teas and special events and children's programs
     Training will be provided

Education Department: >M-F 10:00am-4:30pm & various weekends
     Teach classes in Colorado history and conduct guided tours at the museum
     Answer telephones in the education office during lunch hour
     Assist with lectures and special events (evenings or weekends)
     Flexible shifts based on scheduled tours and special events
     Training will be provided

Executive Residence, 400 E 8th Avenue, Denver, CO 80203: Every Tuesday from June-August 1:00-3:00pm
     Shifts based on schedule
     Guide tours at the mansion during public hours for school groups and other groups
     Training provided

Georgetown Lebanon Mine, Georgetown, CO 80444: Fall & Spring
     Conduct History Outdoors tours at the Lebanon Mine in Georgetown
     Two weeks in spring and two weeks in fall
     Training will be provided
