Volunteer Opportunities inside the Colorado History Museum:
Guest Services
Admissions/Membership Services Desk (3-hour shifts): M-F
10:00am - 4:30pm
Greet CHS members, museum visitors and take admission fee on cash register
Inform visitors on how to become a member of CHS and offer member benefits
Orient visitors to the permanent & special exhibits, the museum store, restrooms, etc.
Provide information about other museums, nearby restaurants and transportation
Access computer system to verify membership status
Training will be provided
Museum Store (3-hour shifts): M-S 10:00am-4:30pm
/ Sunday 12:00pm-4:30pm
Customer service, greet people, assist customers in finding merchandise
Assist with stocking, pricing and displaying merchandise
Take telephone orders and answer telephone inquiries
Use cash register/point-of-sale system
Monitor inventories
Offer memberships for member discount
Training will be provided
