Building a 21st-Century Museum for 21st-Century Learning |
As History Colorado begins construction of the brand new History Colorado Center, it means many changes to the educational opportunities provided for teachers and students. Educational programmming and guided museum tours at the current Colorado History Museum are no longer offered, as we prepare to close this facility on March 28, 2010. However admission to the museum is currently free for all, including self-guided school tours, until we close. The good news…there are still resources available to you until the History Colorado Center opens! History Colorado will begin offering more enhanced programs, trunks, tours, and online resources statewide. Consider arranging walking tours of Denver, bringing an artifact trunk into your classroom, or a visit to one of our many other History Colorado museums and historic sites around the state. We are here to help you make the most of your Colorado history experience! |
