letters, photographs, and artifacts as they explore
the use of primary resources in interpreting the past.

From Invasion to New Footprints
Students explore the changing landscape of American Indian life in Colorado from conflict to reservations and boarding schools, modern human rights struggles, and contemporary identity.
 When: 10:00 to noon, Tuesday through Friday
How Long: 2 hours per class
Ages: Middle school through high school
Group Size: 10 minimum, 30 maximum
Cost: $2.50 per student ($25 minimum). One adult
per 5 students free; additional adults $2 each
How to Schedule a Program: All school programs and tours,
whether self-guided or guided, must be scheduled two weeks in advance.
